These candlesticks are designed and produced by the Jerusalem artist Yair Emanuel. Emanuel's designs are based on the combination of the classic traditional motifs, and the modern and Oriental.
This "new old" design is travel friendly and consist of two parts that fit together. They are beautiful when they are both closed and open. These candlesticks are designed with pomegranates which is a Jewish tradition is a symbol of blessing and abundance. Intertwined with the pomegranates design is the caption "Shabbat Shalom."
The candlesticks are made of colored aluminum combined with a stainless steel cut.
